Today, the signing ceremony of the electronic connectivity agreement took place between the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Lands and Survey, the agreement was signed by the Secretary General for Judicial Affairs, Judge Walid Kanakria, representing the Ministry of Justice, and the Director General of the Land and Survey Department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amoush, representing the Land and Survey Department.

After signing the agreement, Kanakria stated that the electronic connectivity agreement with the Department of Lands and Survey is consistent with the lofty royal visions to enhance the concept of electronic government. It aims to facilitate and accelerate the procedures for implementing rulings and decisions related to seizure and release of seizure and inquiring about immovable property in real estate records at the Department of Lands and Survey in a way that ensures the rapid arrival of seizure and release notifications issued by judicial authorities.

And reducing the possibility of delaying its implementation as a result of using traditional methods represented by correspondence and paper correspondence between the two sides.

Kanakria clarified that the agreement will provide the courts and their affiliated departments and notary departments with access to the electronic title deed and inquiries about immovable property through the real estate newsletter at the Department of Lands and Surveys, and access to the movements of legal occurrences and their values or the administrative values of the property, if any, based on a judicial decision, and all What is related to the completion of transactions submitted to the notary public.

He pointed out that the number of joint transactions between the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Lands and Survey amounted to approximately (20) thousand transactions during the year (2023).

Kanakrieh added that the electronic connectivity will be done through the secure government network to follow up on the status of the seizure or release of the seizure electronically, which contributes to ensuring its accuracy and reliability and contributes to accelerating procedures in courts and executive departments.
