FAQ

What are the documents required to file a cassation application by written order?
  • A summons signed by the person concerned or his representative addressed to His Excellency the Minister of Justice shall be submitted
  • Attach a certified copy of the judgments issued acquired the final degree
  • A financial receipt (worth 22 dinars if the application is submitted by the person concerned, and 74 dinars if the request is submitted by his agent (lawyer).
  • Attorney's power of attorney in case the application is submitted by a lawyer (Mubarzah)
  • Any other documents it deems necessary

What are the powers of a licensed notary?

According to the text of Article (8) of the Notary Public Licensing Law and its amendments No. (22) of 2015

  • Ratification of legal translation that does not relate to contracts for the disposal of immovable property or transactions for which the law does not require a formality for convening .
  • Ratification of judicial declarations and undertakings .
  • Marking the papers and attributions submitted to him to prove their date .
  • Attestation of written certificates after the testifier takes the legal oath before him.
