85 lawyers take the oath before the Minister of Justice
Today, Thursday (85) new lawyers took the oath before the Minister of Justice, Dr. Bassam Talhouni, and the President of the Jordanian Bar Association, Yahya Abu Aboud.
Dr. Talhouni welcomed the new lawyers, praising the role of the legal profession in detecting the truth to achieve justice, and wishing them success in carrying this noble mission.
It is noteworthy that Article (23) of the Law of the Bar Association obliges the lawyer whose name is registered for the first time in the register of professorial lawyers to take the legal oath before the Minister of Justice in the presence of the President or two members of the Bar Council.
