The signing of the second meeting of the transfer of persons sentenced of penalties of deprivation of liberty between Jordan and Saudi Arabia Minutes
Implementation of what has been agreed upon at the first meeting of the Jordanian and the Saudi Committee for the transfer of persons sentenced of penalties of deprivation of liberty, which was held in Amman, the second meeting minutes was signed, which was held in the Interior Ministry headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia recently, so as to activate cooperation between the two countries in the field of transfer of sentenced person of penalties of deprivation of liberty.
The minutes was signed for the Jordanian side the head of the standing committee of the transfer of sentenced persons of penalties of deprivation of liberty Attorney General Judge Ziad Dhmour, as well as the Saudi side, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Interior Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi.
Attorney General Dhmour talked about the legal framework that is in the context of these discussions and of the transfer of sentenced persons of penalties of deprivation of liberty between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and ratified by the two countries in accordance with the constitutional procedures of each of them, as the two sides during this information meeting about who meet the conditions of transfer or provisions of transfer and the number of inmates in prisons, noting that the transfer of convicts subject is very important as a result of ongoing communication with the Saudis brothers.
For his part, Al-Mutairi stressed the importance of the signing of the minutes of the meeting a procedural step towards the transfer of convicts of penalties of deprivation of liberty for nationals of the two countries, reflecting the positive effect of the humanitarian and human rights into account and empower families to communicate with them and visit them.
He pointed out that the move is the beginning of the subsequent steps will be cooperation on them in future meetings, praising the cooperation of Jordan in various fields.
