The Integrity and Anti-Corruption team visit the Ministry of Justice
Integrity Commission and anti-corruption team visited on Tuesday, the Ministry of Justice to view its tasks, roles and strategic plans of the Ministry carried out to promote integrity and combat corruption and develop procedures that elevate the roles of the ministry.
The Secretary General of the Ministry Ahmed Jamalia that the Ministry of Justice is the executive arm of the judicial authority in Jordan, noting the important roles played by the ministry on the subject of integrity, reviewing the strategic objectives of the justice sector and the mechanics of the development system legislation.
He met the President of the Commission, Dr. Mohammed ibn Tarif with UN Secretary-General for Management Omar Tlafaih assistant and district managers in the ministry and check out the various tasks performed by the directorates and the mechanics of the development work in the ministry, in addition to the latest developments and plans that are guaranteed by the Ministry in its performance to combat corruption and promote integrity and reduce abuses and update the legislation system in the ministry.
He gave Assistant Secretary General for clarification of the procedures carried out by each Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, through the provision of Director on the briefing entrusted with the role, and reviewed some of the obstacles faced by the ministry, most notably the lack of human resources and the need for the ministry to of qualified and trained in some areas cadres.
