Judicial Institute concludes the training seminar for judges to train capacity-building

 

As part of the cooperation between the Jordanian Judicial Institute and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), a specialized training seminar for judges was concluded in Amman today.

 

The Director of the Judicial Institute of Jordan, Judge Ihsan Barakat said that the Judicial Institute is keen to expand its circle of partners to encourage cooperation with various Arab and foreign bodies in the fields of judicial and legal work in order to transfer international expertise and share with Jordanian expertise for the benefit of the litigation process, noting that the cooperation with the German Foundation for Legal Cooperation extends over many years, stressing the Institute's keenness to continue this fruitful and constructive cooperation.

She pointed out that the Institute is keen to provide training courses for trainers specialized in legal and judicial aspects to provide sufficient knowledge of practical and practical methods, methodologies and successful training models, which will reflect positively on the training process as a whole and enable trainers to transfer the knowledge and subject matter and achieve the training effect of the trainees.

For his part, Dr. Arnald Fuller, project manager at the German Foundation for the Middle East and North Africa, expressed the keenness of the Foundation to continue the existing cooperation between the two sides, which dates back to 2006 and is in the service of efforts to serve the Jordanian judicial system, especially with regard to the training of judges.

The symposium, which includes twenty trained judges with expertise and competence, will include topics related to the building and development of training capacities through interactive and participatory training and using the latest technologies and means in this field.

On the German side, Mr. Ufa Stark Qazi is present at the Court of First Instance in Ziguin of the North Rhine-Westphalia State and Dr. Arnd Weisshaupt, Judge at the Supreme Court of the Federal District of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The conference was attended by Ms. Carolyn Kubanek, project manager at the German Foundation for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), who expressed her keenness to continue the existing cooperation between the two sides.
