Discussion of cooperation with Palestine in the legal and judicial fields

The Minister of Justice, Dr. Awad Abu Jarad, Monday discussed with the head of the Supreme Court and the head of the Palestinian Higher Judicial Council Judge Sami Sarsour the joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of legal and judicial cooperation.

Dr. Abu Jarad stressed that Jordan puts and harnesses all the potential and experience in the field of judiciary to the Palestinian brothers to take advantage of them, and displayed during the meeting, development of procedures carried out by the ministry during the previous years in order to facilitate and improve service procedures provided to all corners of the litigation process

The ministry is ready to provide support to the Palestinian judicial body for the development of litigation and benefit from the practical experiences and the exchange of expertise to assist in the development of regulatory legislation in Palestine.

In turn, Judge Sami Sarsour said that Jordan never too cheap to Palestine in any tender or material or moral support, and was a pioneer and a leader in supporting the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in the land, stressing the importance of legal and judicial cooperation between Jordan and Palestine relations and his country's aspiration to benefit from the Jordanian expertise in this area.

Sarsour valued the role of the Ministry of Justice in the political reform process and the complementary relationship that is forming with the judiciary.
